June 19, 1970   He is the son of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and present Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Grandson of Indira Gandhi and Great Grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru.     Rahul did his schooling at Modern School, New Delhi.   He then enrolled for History (Hons) at St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi.   He claims to have  completed a four-year AB course in Economics at Harvard University and Development Economics at Trinity College Cambridge.    Rahul apparently worked as a financial consultant at London before shifting to India.   Rahul is the fifth generation of the Nehru-Gandhi family to enter politics.
